RICK ROSS ESCAPES DRIVE BY SHOOTING
Reports
are that the Florida police are in the process of gathering
surveillance footage from the scene of the crash in the Rick
Ross drive-by shooting.
Following reports, Ross reportedly smashed his Rolls-Royce into an
apartment building in Ft. Lauderdale while attempting to flee from a
drive-by shooting early this morning in which he was the intended
target.
It is said that sources connected to the case tells that security
cameras at a building across the street from the crash were rolling
during the incident and police are hoping the footage will either
reveal the identity of the shooter or at least show the vehicle. But for
now, no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.

Tifa and Stacious may have placed themselves in the line of fire
but they believe it's a risk worth taking, if it will get them the
justice they deserve. Both female artistes claim that they were treated
with less respect than they deserved by organizers of the recently
concluded Reggae Sumfest stage show.
The
Dancehall Diva's gave rousing sets during their appearances on Reggae
Sumfest's Dancehall Night Thursday July 19th. Despite the positive
receptions and feedback they got from fans, both artistes insist that
negative vibrations could be felt backstage as the highly regarded
Dancehall divas have come forward with allegations of gender
discrimination and prejudice following the treatment they received at
Reggae Sumfest 2012.
Tifa and Stacious appeared
on a television interview voicing their grievances regarding Sumfest
while alleging that promoters of the stage show exercised bias
throughout the night. According to Tifa, she's done enough in her career
to warrant better treatment.
"10 o'clock I go
on the stage and I feel like I've earned my place in Reggae/Dancehall,
I've earned my time and my spotlight and my shine. I just feel like it
was very disrespectful how dem deal wid it, like yuh haffi go pon stage
now."

Chris Cheater's Prayer COPIED by rapper Jim Jone
Reggae artiste Chris Martin's single Cheater's Prayer has been hijacked by American rapper Jim Jones. Jim Jones version of the song is called Mary's Prayer and was recorded without Chris Martin's consent.
The song sees Jim Jones rapping on the cool cool reggae instrumental along with Chris Martin's voice on the chorus. According to Chris Martin's team, the rapper made an effort to contact Martin's management however they were unavailable. The We Fly High rapper then decided to go ahead and do a remix on his own. The rapper also released a music video for the song available on
YouTube.com. Martin and his management are now trying to make contact
with Jones in an effort to solidify an official collaboration agreement. It appears that reggae music is breaking through in the Hip Hop market.
Yes, Wiz Khalifa
and Amber Rose have a name all picked out for their baby boy — but the
picture-perfect couple will not be going public until their son is born
in a few more weeks.
During a radio interview on Tuesday, the
lovebirds teased listeners, but ultimately told the world they will have
to wait. "It's a total boss name for a boy," Rose told Big Boy from
L.A.'s Power 106
during his radio show this morning. "It's funny because I came up with
the name for our boy and immediately he came up with a rapper [nickname]
for him."
Wiz says he's already laid out his son's whole alter ego. The proud
papa is so well-prepared that he even has a girl's name on deck in case
he and Amber have a daughter next. "He thought we were having a girl as
soon as I got pregnant and then we had the girl's name all ready," his
soon-to-be wife said. "We're not gonna say that either because we may
have the girl next."
The two laughed and joked on air, but gave no
concrete information only revealing that it was Amber who came up with
the "normal" but "not common" baby name.
